Mildred Roche ’79 Wins Fran Pinson Pianist Award
Mildred Roche, ’79, Instructor of Accompanying for Converse’s Petrie School of Music, is the 2023 Fran McMillan Pinson Collaborative Pianist Award recipient.
The award, from the South Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (SCNATS), was established in memory of Fran McMillan Pinson, a dedicated and beloved staff accompanist for The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University.
Converse is grateful for Roche’s dedication to both her craft and her beloved students in the Petrie School of Music.
